During the recent Dedication Ceremony for a new state historical marker at the historic Moriah Church on Moriah Road in Jackson County, Jeanne Jindra (left), the former Director of the Madog Center for Welsh Studies at the University of Rio Grande, received a major honor. Jindra was presented with a certificate of appreciation from Alex Ingley (right) of the Ohio History Connection in recognition for her long and dedicated past service working to preserve the Welsh history and culture of Southeastern Ohio.
