The Vinton County Wild Turkey Festival named a Little Miss and Court as well as a Little Miss Gobblerette and Mr. Gobbler.

On the final day of the Wild Turkey Festival, which was Sunday, May 8, a few more royalty members were crowned in the afternoon.

Paige Robinette was named the Vinton County Wild Turkey Festival Little Miss, Adeline Saunders was crowned First Runner-up, while Angela Cain was crowned Second Runner-up. Robinette was also awarded the Community Spirit Award and Saunders was awarded the People’s Choice Award and Miss Congeniality.

A total of eight young ladies: Adeline Saunders, Angela Cain, Phoenix Litteral, Amiyah Goodwin, Kenzley McCoy, Harmony Huntley, Paige Robinette and Audrey McNally, had tried out for Little Miss. The first-ever Little Miss Wild Turkey Festival pageant was held back on Sunday, April 24.

They also crowned Layla Thacker as Little Miss Gobblerette and Blake Edwards as Mr. Gobbler.
