Materials and equipment are in place for an upcoming sewer-line repair project which the Village of Hamden plans to undertake on Central Street to stop line leaks. The Village, with the assistance of the Vinton County Development Office, obtained a grant to conduct the project. New Mayor Chuck Boyer is excited about the project as he says it will keep the Village in compliance with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA). The piping has just arrived and it was late coming due to supply-chain problems in Mississippi.
