The Oak Hill Lady Oaks wrapped up last week with a pair of three-set losses against Wheelersburg and South Webster.

Wheelersburg 3, Oak Hill 0

WHEELERSBURG – Wheelersburg showcased their offensive skills from the onset, defeating the Lady Oaks 25-5, 25-17, and 25-9 in a Southern Ohio Conference Division II volleyball match.

Wheelersburg’s Lexi Rucker and Ryleigh Meeker ended with 10 kills apiece.

As a team, the Lady Pirates finished the match with 31 kills and a .358 hitting percentage.

Statistics for Oak Hill were not available at press time.

The Lady Oaks will look to bounce back on Thursday in a SOC Division II matchup at Waverly.

South Webster 3, Oak Hill 0

OAK HILL – The Oak Hill Lady Oaks had its three-match win streak snapped by South Webster, 3-0, on Tuesday.

Like Wheelersburg, the Lady Jeeps displayed their offensive skills from the onset, earning a three-match sweep over the Lady Oaks, 25-15, 25-12, and 25-4.

South Webster’s Briana Claxon ended her night with a match-high 13 kills paired with a .684 hitting percentage. Also, Faith Maloney surpassed the 1,000th career kill mark, as she finished with nine kills and a .400 hitting percentage.

South Webster finished the match with 35 kills and an overall .394 hitting percentage as a team.

Oak Hill’s outside hitter Chloe Potter ended with seven kills and a .250 hitting percentage to lead the Lady Oaks. In addition, middle hitter Chloe Chambers hit .167 and had four kills on the night.

Additionally, setter Baylee Howell recorded 10 assists.

Jordan Howard ended with six digs, Alyssa Zornes had five, while Chambers and Potter had four apiece.

Oak Hill concluded the match with 12 kills and a .017 hitting percentage.
