JACKSON – The Jackson Ironladies was swept by former SEOAL rival Logan 11-25, 25-27, and 14-25 in a non-league volleyball match on Wednesday evening.

Cloe Michael and Paige Dailey paced Jackson’s attack with five kills each.

The Ironladies had 17 total kills on 78 attempts, while hitting .038. They finished with seven assists with three blocks, and 42 digs.

Jackson libero Kaydee Brown finished in double-digits in digs with 16, while Sydney Hughes and Allie Bradbury had 16 of the teams’ 17 kills with nine and seven, respectively.

The Ironladies returned to Frontier Athletic Conference action on Thursday at Chillicothe.

Hillsboro 3, Jackson 1

The Jackson Ironladies fell in four sets against Hillsboro (19-25, 25-18, 25-27, 11-25) in a Frontier Athletic Conference volleyball match on Tuesday.

The Ironladies had 36 kills on 147 attempts and hit .048. They had seven aces, five blocks, and 95 digs.

Chloe Michael paced the offensive attack for Jackson, as she finished in double-digits in kills with 10, while Paige Dailey had eight, and Madelyn Cross had five.

Jackson had four players finish in double-figures in digs, led by Kaydee Brown with 36. Rylie Kilgour had 14 digs, while Sydney Hughes had 12, and Haylie Johnson had 10. Hughes also had 15 assists and Allie Bradbury had 12 for the match.
