The girls tournament games in Division II and III have been postponed again.

Here is the newly revised schedule for the teams in The Telegram’s coverage area.


According to the OHSAA website, No. 10 seed Jackson will play at Waverly in the sectional championship game on Friday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m.

Meanwhile, No. 2 Vinton County is still awaiting the winner of No. 15 Gallia Academy and No. 18 Athens, which will be played on Friday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. The winner will travel to Vinton County for the championship game on Saturday at 1 p.m.


In a Division III sectional final, No. 14 Oak Hill will travel to Winchester to take on No. 3 Eastern Brown on Friday in a 7 p.m. tip time.



The Oak Hill Oaks will close out the 2020-2021 regular season at Eastern on Saturday, with the junior varsity contest scheduled for 2 p.m.

Also, Vinton County’s previously postponed home game against the Wellston Golden Rockets will take place on Friday, Feb. 19. The Vikings will close out the regular season in a TVC-Ohio Division game against Athens on Monday, Feb. 22.

Wellston returns to TVC-Ohio Division action on Saturday afternoon at home against River Valley. Tip time is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Wellston will close out the regular season on Tuesday, Feb. 23, in a TVC-Ohio Division contest against Nelsonville-York. Senior Night activities will be observed before the game.

The Jackson Ironmen will travel to Chillicothe for a Frontier Athletic Conference makeup on Saturday afternoon, and finally, they will host Greenfield-McClain in a FAC makeup game on Monday night. The Ironmen are currently in a first-place tie with Hillsboro in the conference.


The Wellston Lady Rockets are scheduled to close out TVC-Ohio Division play on Saturday in a game at Nelsonville-York at 6 p.m.



The No. 13 Wellston Golden Rockets will host No. 20 Meigs Marauders in a sectional semifinal on Monday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m.

Also, No. 26 Oak Hill will play at No. 7 Portsmouth West in a sectional semifinal on Monday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m.


No. 6 Jackson will host No. 11 Vinton County in a sectional final on Thursday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m.
