GREENFIELD – The Jackson Ironladies golf team opened the 2022 season the best way possible on Thursday at the Adam Sharp Invitational at Buckeye Hills Country Club in Greenfield, Ohio.
With a win.
The Ironladies won the five-team match with a score of 202.
Washington Court House finished as the runner-up with a 224, while Miami Trace finished third with a score of 231. Logan Elm took fourth with a score of 240, and hosts McClain was fifth with a 259.
Jackson freshman Aubrey Arnold shot a low round of 39 to capture meet medalist honors.
Arnold was followed by teammates Alia Rippeth with a 53, while Schuler Murray shot 54 and Taylor Mullins finished with a 56. Also, Autumn Crabtree shot 62 for Jackson.
The Ironladies will return to the links next Thursday, August 11 in a dual match against Wellston at Franklin Valley Golf Course at 4:30 p.m.
