For the third year in a row the Jackson Ironladies soccer team conducted the Help for Homeless Food Drive. The food drive was created by junior Makayla Wyant. Each year Makayla gets sponsors to monetarily donate the cost of a bag of food for each goal scored by the Ironladies. The Ironladies put together 38 bags of food on Sunday to be donated to the Jackson County Homeless Committee. Since the food drive was started three years ago, the Ironladies have contributed to over 145 bags of food to the Homeless Committee Food Bank. Thank you to the sponsors of the food drive who were Kelly Wiley Realty, Ohio valley Bank, Fain Photography, Randy Evans Construction, Gwyn and Gloria Carlisle, Joe and Tami Wyant and Sheward-Fulk Insurance.
