The 9U Jackson County Black Sox competed well this last weekend. They finished third in the Nation’s Baseball State Tournament after getting wins in bracket play against the Sandusky Scrappers and the Upper Arlington Bears. The Sox went on to lose in the State Semifinals to the Aces Elite from Akron, which went on to win the State Championship by beating Columbus’s Buckeye Baseball Club by a score of 20-12. Pictured in the front row (L-R) are Waylon Delong, Cooper Marcum, Braden Bobst, Kruiz Kuhn, and Griffen Michael.
