• Wellston hosts Golden Rocket Invitational
    WELLSTON – For the first time in 22-years, the Wellston High School boys’ and girls’ track and field teams hosted a home meet with 13 schools participating in the 2021 Golden Rocket Invitational.
  • WILLOWWOOD – The Wellston Lady Rockets split a pair of games at the Symmes Valley Softball Showcase on Saturday, defeating Smithville, 12-1, before falling 9-6 to Gahanna Lincoln.
  • JACKSON – The Jackson Ironmen remained undefeated with a shutout win against McClain in five-innings on Friday afternoon.
  • ALBANY – Alexander had Wellston on the ropes, leading 7-3 heading into the sixth inning.
  • Oaks earn 9-4 victory against River Valley
    OAK HILL – The Oak Hill Oaks had a late rally three different occasions to defeat the River Valley Raiders 9-4 in a non-conference contest Tuesday afternoon.  The Oaks broke a 4-4 tie in the bottom of the sixth inning.  Oak Hill took the lead for good when Dylan Venegas singled on a ground ball to center fielder. The hit scored Flint Barger, who drew a walk, and Aiden Hall who singled scored to give them a 6-4 lead. The Oaks also scored another run when Needham crossed the plate on error by the catcher. 
  • Lady Rockets lose pitching duel against Athens, 2-0

    WELLSTON – The Wellston Lady Rockets and Athens battled back-and-forth in a pitcher’s duel at Nancy Kibler Field on Wednesday.

    JACKSON – The Jackson Ironmen rallied from a 4-0 deficit in the third inning against Valley on Monday for a 14-4 victory at Dick “Sparky” Haller Field.
