  • ARC grant allows BHCC to bolster offerings
    An Appalachian Impact Initiative Partnership grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) totaling $1.5 million will allow the award-winning Buckeye Hills Career Center (BHCC) to partner with some top-notch companies and expand its offerings to high school and adult learners via four new programs.
  • Jackson Council primed to approve contractor-registration program
    When Jackson City Council meets again on Monday evening, April 12, it will consider the approval of new legislation which would establish a requirement for the registration of contractors who work within the City.
  • Commissioners, city mayors recognize May 6 as National Day of Prayer
    The Jackson County Commissioners were joined recently by the mayors of Jackson and Wellston, Randy Evans and Charlie Hudson, as well as local planning team members to recognize May 6 as the National Day of Prayer, which has a theme of “Lord, Pour out Your Love, Life and Liberty” for 2021.
