To The Editor:

The Jackson County American Cancer Society wishes to thank the people of Jackson and surrounding counties for all their help and support in making the 2019 Festival of Trees a tremendous success.
We would like to thank all those who donated their time and talents in creating the beautifully decorated trees, miniature trees, wreaths and arrangements.  Also, we wish to thank the ones who contributed to our Bake Sale and also those who donated miscellaneous items to be auctioned.
Without those of you who attended the Gala, visited our Festival of Trees, participated in the Barbara Buchanan Memorial Card Party, the children and adults who attended Santa’s Workshop and those of you that generously donated food, sponsored items and purchased items, the Festival would not have been successful.
We would like to thank the Wright family of Jackson Express for the wonderful food for the Gala and to Tina King for catering.
We would also like to thank the radio, and our local newspapers for the excellent coverage of the Festival of Trees.
Our Festival of Trees raised around $28,000.  The donations received will help toward our continued fight in the battle against cancer.
May the peace and happiness of the holidays be yours today and everyday throughout the coming New Year.
