Thomas W. Mossbarger, 73, passed away on November 22, 2020 in Columbus, OH. He was a resident of Pickerington, OH. He was born on November 17, 1947, in Portsmouth, OH to William G. and Margaret Smith Mossbarger of South Webster, who preceded him in death. He grew up in Jackson, Ohio and was a graduate of Jackson High School, Class of 1965. Tom was a brother of the Alpha Tau Delta fraternity at University of Rio Grande, Class of 1969. 

 Tom taught high school mathematics for several years in Ohio and Pittsburgh, PA. He subsequently had a long and successful career in sales management in the commercial security technology industry. Over the years, he covered customers and managed sales teams over several states while headquartered in Central Ohio. Tom enjoyed his work immensely and only recently retired from Zenitel USA in 2018 while was still their North American Central Regional Sales Leader. Tom had a passion for travel, church, and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family most of all, especially his children and grandchildren. He stayed active up until his untimely passing. 

 Tom is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Lorraine (Lori) Mossbarger. Tom was also the loving father of daughter Stacey (wife to Richard III) Thompson of Fort Collins, CO; son Jason (husband to Gina) Mossbarger of Delaware, OH; and proud grandfather of Richard IV and Blythe Thompson, and Ella Mossbarger. Other surviving family includes brothers: Bob of Jackson, OH, Jerry of Aiken, SC, and Dave of Fishers, IN.

A memorial service will be held in Tom’s honor on Saturday, June 26th 10 a.m. at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church 1636 Graham Road, Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068.
