Robert Dale "Bob" Napper, age 85, of Hamden, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the home of his daughter in Hamden, Ohio.  He was born Oct. 8, 1933 in Orton, Ohio, son of the late James Napper and Shirley Sizemore Napper. 

Bob was a former employee of Austin Powder Company.  He later retired from the railroad, where he was known to his co-workers as "Duck". Bob had a combined total of 28 years working with B&O Railroad, Chessie System and CSX.  Bob was an energetic person who was known around Hamden for his giving heart and kindness.  He loved being outdoors, taking walks, and visiting a lot with his family and friends.  He attended Truth Church in Hamden. 

Bob is survived by his daughters, Misty Peoples (Robby) of Hamden and Tina Wiseman (Greg) of Hebron, Kentucky; grandchildren, Sean, Matthew and Christian Wiseman, Austin Miller and Chance Peoples; brother, Kenny Napper of New Straitsville; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. 

Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston.  Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Eberts officiating.  Burial will follow in the Radcliff Cemetery.
