Nathan Edward Smarr-Zickefoose, 26, of Fostoria, Ohio, died on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at his home. He was born Oct. 22, 1992 in Findlay, Ohio to Traci Smarr and Shannon Zickefoose II.

 Surviving is his mother, Traci (Tom) Smarr-Wilson of Fostoria; maternal grandparents, Don and Sharon Shock of Republic; paternal grandparents, Shannon (Sherry) Zickefoose and Mary Rader of Fostoria; stepfather, Bill Moyer Jr. of Fostoria; stepmother, Linda Zickefoose of Oak Hill; son, Abel Edward Zickefoose; stepchildren, Brandon Sherbrook and Sophia Grace Short, all at home; his fiancé, Tesla Blake of Fostoria; sister, Ashley (Brad) Schroth of Bowling Green; stepbrothers, Robert and Jason Wilson of Fostoria; and stepsisters, Lana Cooper and Leah Cook, both of Sylvania, Laura Smith of Bremen, Ohio and Becca (Dustin) Rice of McComb.

 He was preceded in death by his father, Shannon Zickefoose II; grandfathers, Edward Smarr and Bill Rader; and brother, Zachery Lonsway.

 Nathan attended Fostoria High and Oak Hill High Schools; he was a 2011 graduate of ECOT.

 Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home with the Reverend Stephanie Little, officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Abel’s Education Fund, c/o the Huntington Bank in Fostoria.
