The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Jackson County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.

U.S. 35 slide repair – U.S. 35 westbound will be reduced to one lane west of Clary Road starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, July 6. Estimated completion: Summer 2020.

U.S. 35 bridge maintenance – U.S. 35 will be reduced to one lane in each direction over Indian Creek, between the two Centerville Road intersections. Estimated completion: Summer 2020.

U.S. 35 resurfacing – U.S. 35 between Springer Road and Brohard Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction for this construction. Estimated completion: Summer 2020.

State Route 776 culvert replacement - State Route 776 will be closed for five days between Homestead Road and Campbell Road starting at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, July 27. Traffic will be detoured via State Route 139 and State Route 32. Estimated completion: Friday, July 31 by 3:30 p.m.

State Route 139 bridge replacement –State Route 139 will be reduced to one, 10-foot lane between State Route 32 and Chestnut Grove Road beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8. Traffic will be maintained using temporary signals. Estimated completion: Fall 2020.

Raysville Road bridge replacement - Raysville Road between Borland Road and State Route 327 is closed for this construction. Traffic will be detoured around the closure via Raysville Road to State Route 327 to Twin Bridge Road. Estimated completion: Fall 2020.
