On Sundays, Pig Iron Smokehouse & Grille is going to take customers on a trip to the past and offer traditional chicken dinners with all the fixings as a special. He said fried chicken would be available other days, but featured on Sundays.

Another popular feature is a combination digital jukebox and photo booth. The photo booth is free and gives customers four pictures of their experience. The jukebox requires payment, but is very unique, as customers can choose songs from today’s biggest hits to all-time classics across numerous genres of music. In the future, the Isons are planning to build a patio, with the hopes of having live music entertainment on selected nights.

The hours of operation are Tuesday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday noon to 8 p.m. Credit cards are accepted, and there are military, senior citizen and veteran discounts available. Ison stated many customers from Wellston, Jackson, Vinton County and other places throughout the area have visited the new restaurant thus far. The restaurant will beis offering delivery in Marchservice through the Door-Dash company and they are accepting one-line orders through their website and Facebook Page.
