Following is a list of items taken into consideration by members of the Oak Hill Union Local Schools Board of Education during the Wednesday evening, July 29 meeting:

* As presented by District Treasurer Rhonda Harrison, the Board approved the financial report, investment report and bills paid for June.

* A memorandum of understanding between the district and The Ohio State University for SNAP-Ed for the 2020-21 school year was approved.

* The Board approved the district joining with Health Recovery Services programs for the 2020-21 school year.

* An agreement with the Buckeye Hills Career Center for the Operation of Career-Technical Programs was approved for the 2020-21 school year.

* The Board approved the following supplemental contracts: Karen Spees for 20 extended days as Middle/High School Counselor; Elizabeth McCorkle for 20 extended days as the Elementary School Counselor; and Elizabeth Morgan as Preschool Director.

* Tentatively, the board approved the Class of 2021’s senior trip to Washington, D.C. from April 27 to May 1, 2021. Superintendent Dr. Marci Shepard stated this reflects the district’s hope that this trip can happen.

* The Board approved/accepted the WesBanco Scholarship of $1,000.

* The Board approved/accepted a donation from the Class of 1984 in memory of Charla Crabtree Hale to the Performing Arts/Choir Fund in the amount of $840.

* The COR-201 Engagement Assistance with Millhuff-Stang, CPA, Accounting contracted services in preparation of financial statements/reports for fiscal years 2020-2022 was approved.

* The legal disbursement of the Eva D. Caulley Scholarship Fund was approved/authorized.

The next meeting of the Oak Hill Union Local School Board of Education has been set for Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 5:30 p.m. from the Middle/High School Library.
