During the July 22 meeting of Jackson City Council, Jackson Mayor Randy Evans acknowledged a donation from the Jackson Elks Lodge #466 which allowed the city to pave the alley which runs alongside the Elks Lodge building, which is located on East Main Street in downtown Jackson. The City recently concluded a major paving program and the Elks donation allowed the alley to be paved while the paving crews were already in town.
