Sheep and goats and their young handlers were in the spotlight Tuesday at the Jackson County Fair as animal shows continued in the Joe Morgan Memorial Show Arena.

In the Breeding Sheep Show, the Overall Champion title was won by Alyssa Zornes. In the Market Lamb Showmanship competition, Grant Mastin was the Overall Sheep Showman, then he came back later in the day to also show the Grand Champion Market Lamb. Kennedy Blevins won the Reserve Champion Market Lamb honors, Natalie Krannitz showed the Top Country Bred Market Lamb and Haley Krannitz had the Reserve Top Country Bred Market Lamb. Also, Elizabeth Hughes showed the Rate-of-Gain championship Market Lamb.

Later Tuesday, the Goat Shows were conducted with Maddox Carl winning the title of Overall Champion Breeding Goat. In the Market Goat Showmanship competition, Grant Mastin added to his memorable day by winning the Overall Goat Showman honors after winning the Overall Sheep Showman award earlier in the day. In the Market Goat Show, Alyssa Zornes captured the Grand Champion honors while Jade Roach won both the Reserve Champion and Top County Bred honors. Haden McKenzie was the Reserve Top County Bred winner and Charles Bowman was the Rate-of-Gain champion.
