Jackson area residents looking to apply for a home loan need look no further than Main Street in Jackson.

Though the business has been operating for months, on Thursday, Jan. 13, it was officially welcomed to the community of Jackson in a ribbon-cutting ceremony held by the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce. Well-known local figures such as Jackson Mayor Randy Evans, Southeast Ohio Regional Liaison for Lt. Gov. Jon Husted Bryn Stepp, Jackson County Commissioners Donnie Willis and Jon Hensler and more participated in the ceremony. Priority Mortgage President Brad Ratliff, along with Mortgage Loan Originator Jody Wilkett, addressed the people of Jackson as the ribbon was cut, inviting all to the business and thanking the city for its acceptance.

“It’s great to see a great crowd out,” said Mayor Evans, addressing the crowd gathered before the business. “Grand openings and ribbon cuttings used to be a big thing in this city, and then it kind of died off. Nothing like this would take place to welcome people or new businesses. I’m really glad to see it coming back, and I thank the Chamber, and you guys, for that.”

“We really appreciate everybody taking time to come out and welcome us to Jackson,” said Ratliff. “We’re all very excited to be here, and we thank you.”
