The Oak Hill Public Library, located at 226 S. Front St. in Oak Hill, began curbside service Monday afternoon, June 22, after being closed since mid-March due to the COVID-19 situation. No one from the public will be permitted inside the library, other than library staff. “Call the library at 740-682-6457 or go online to order your material or you can ring the buzzer at the side door and tell us what you need,” a spokesman said. “You can park at the side entrance and call 740-682-6457 or use the call button at the side of the library (side door). We will bring material outside for you to pick up. Patrons who want to check out something can come to the side of the building and can ring the bell for service.” Pictured (from the left) are: Circulation Clerk Kyla Hutchinson, Director Peggy Johnson, and Circulation Clerk Patty Kuhn. Currently, the library is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday. The library hopes to resume full operations and public entry soon.
