A ribbon cutting was held on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at Hubbard and Daniels Accounting of 400 East Main St. in Jackson to officially commemorate the relocation of the business and to showcase the attractive new interior. Several prominent members of the Jackson community attended the ceremony; shown in the group photo, from left to right, are Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce Co-Executive Director Bryan Leach, Jackson County Economic Development Partnership CEO Sam Brady, Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce Board Member Ryan Wright, Commissioner Donnie Willis, Commissioner Jon Hensler, Commissioner Paul Haller, Co-Owner and Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce Treasurer Susan Daniels, Co-Owner Lee Hubbard, Jackson Mayor Randy Evans, Staff Member and Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce Board Member Tricia Humphreys, Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce Board Member Jamie Morris, Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce Board Member Karena Fulks and Jackson Are Chamber of Commerce Board Member Amanda Crabtree. Having remodeled the interior of the old Milton Bank building, several aspects of the now-defunct business have been incorporated into what Hubbard and Daniels has fondly named “the living room,” the front lobby of their new accounting firm. Pictured next to the old bank’s vault door are owners Lee Hubbard (left) and Susan Daniels (right). Upon the vault door is a brief history of the Milton Bank, detailing the old building’s history.
