The Jackson Rotary Club will conduct a Chili & Bean Dinner at the Farmer-Sportsman Fish Booth on Veterans Drive in Jackson from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11. A similar event was held last November as Rotarians are working to make up for having other fundraising events and activities canceled during the past year due to the COVID-19 situation. Proceeds from the event will help fund the club’s annual scholarship project. The menu will include soup beans or chili priced at $4 a serving, hot dogs for $2 each, cornbread of $1 a serving, and pop and water for $1 each. Packaged condiments will be available if requested. All sales will be on a cash-and-carryout basis. The Farmer-Sportsman Booth is located on Veterans Drive, just south of the Harding Avenue intersection and adjacent to Eddie Jones Park.
