Those visiting Scioto Township are invited to visit the Beaver Valley Produce Auction, found on Glade Road off State Route 32, past the welding shop. Having invested a large amount of money into the project and using minimal outside labor, the local Amish community now meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays instead of selling their crops in Gallia County, as they used to. A sign is visible and will lead to the auction house, which boasts an open building plan with ample space. Several Amish vendors are present each day, selling all manner of crops. A refreshment stand is also on-site, selling drinks, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, donuts on Fridays, and much more. Produce will be sold until later this fall, when the Amish will be selling mums and pumpkins.
