The game was tied when Jake Harper reached base on a fielder's choice and the Vikings broke the tie when Logan Ward was hit with a pitch.

The Raiders took a short-lived 4-3 lead in the top of the third, with Edgar driving in Collins with a double.

The Vikings' offensive attack responded in their half of the third. It all happened with two outs, as Jake Harper doubled and scored on a single by Noah Waddell. Waddell came home on Logan Ward's single and the Vikings led 5-4.

The Vikings added three insurance runs in the fifth inning, as Wells singled, Grigsby was hit by a pitch, Bartoe flew out and Hayes drew a walk. Wells stole home and Hayes scored on a single by DJ Norris.

Waddell drove in the final run for an 8-5 lead.
