Jackson resident and Army veteran Samuel D. Morgan nearly lost his life when he was wounded fighting the Japanese in World War II. He survived his wartime injuries, but due to some paperwork errors and lost records, he never received many of the combat and service medals which he richly deserved. Tuesday, March 21, 2017
