5/17/2017 9:52:00 AM Plan now for 5th Annual Kiwanis Golf Outing, slated for June 10
The 5th Annual Jackson Area Kiwanis Golf Outing, with a four-person scramble format, is set for Saturday, June 10 at the Franklin Valley Golf Course, Jackson. Cost is $240 per team, or $60 per player. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a shot-gun start at 8:30 a.m. The number of teams will be limited to the first 18 teams to register with full payment.
The entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, riding cart, green fees and lunch. Two Mulligans and one Skirt will be available for $20 per person. If you choose you can register the entire team for a combined package price of $320. Registration deadline is June 3, 2017.
A putting contest will be held between 7:30 and 8:15 a.m. - 3 balls for $5; split the winnings.
A cash prize will be awarded to first-, second- and third-place teams. The final cash prizes will total $550-$1,100, depending on the total teams entered. In addition, a grand door prize and various skill prizes will be awarded.
All profits will go to the Kiwanis Club of the Jackson Area, to support area children's programs.
A grilled lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, assorted chips, baked beans, cole slaw, water and soda pop will be provided. A drink cart will be roaming the course during the event with bottled water and soda pop. All prizes will be awarded after completion of the tournament.
