9/5/2017 3:21:00 PM Marijuana bust conducted in Hamden
On Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 12:30 p.m., the Hamden Police Department, along with members of the Vinton County Sheriff's Office, conducted a residential search at 160 Auta Ave., Hamden.
According to Hamden Police Chief Kevin Neel, this search stems from an investigation initiated by Chief Neel after receiving an anonymous tip that Marijuana was being cultivated within the home. During the search, an indoor grow operation was allegedly discovered consisting of 32 plants suspected to be Marijuana.
Charges for felony cultivation of Marijuana against Nancy Shell, 71, and Brent Norman, 54, of Hamden will be filed with the Vinton County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.
