Informational Meeting: The Borgen Project

The Borgen Project is a non-profit organization that fights
global poverty at the political level in the United States
through citizen interaction with government leaders. In
order to better understand the importance of this
organization, the audience will have the opportunity to
learn about common misconceptions regarding U.S.
foreign aid as well as critical legislation that the Borgen
Project is advocating for. In addition, the audience will learn about volunteer and internship opportunities that are available through this nonprofit, nonpartisan organization.
